University of Science and Technology of China was ranked no.3 in Chinese Mainland along with Fudan University and 220-225th in the world in the 2012-13 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, announced Oct 3, 2012.Peking University was ranked 46th and Tshinghua University 52nd.
